Important Links

BeeBase - https://secure.fera.defra.gov.uk/beebase/
BeeBase is the official online presence of the National Bee Unit (NBU). It is designed for beekeepers, and is part of The Food and Environment Research Agency (FERA).
We would recommend that ALL beekeepers register their details with BeeBase, so that you are known to your regional Bee Inspectors, and so that you can be informed if there are colonies nearby which are infected with notifiable diseases.

  Dave Cushman's Beekeeping & Bee Breeding Website - http://www.dave-cushman.net/bee/newhome.html
A truly stunning array of information in an accessible format for beekeepers of all skill levels. Highly recommended.

Sheffield Beekeepers Pollen Chart - http://www.sheffieldbeekeepers.org.uk/tools/pollen-chart/
Not quite as good as a printed chart - but a great idea, and brilliant for informal identification of what sort of pollen your bees are bringing home throughout the year.

UK Bee Swarm Collectors Map - http://batchgeo.com/map/994f4d7ca8991711988b36f8c9dc62f7
This is a great new development from an Internet-enabled beekeeper! It allows you to find your nearest beekeeper, by postcode, anywhere in the country!
